English: Micrograph of tissue paper. Illumination is by ultraviolet light causing autofluorescence of the fibres, the image was captured through a blue filter to block direct illumination. 9 images manually stitched into a panorama. Individual fibres are ~10 μm wide. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Lately, I been noticing the talking heads on television and cable regurgitating the same old news. Like a dog with a good bone to pick, they dutifully introduce, mangle, and conclude their vapid speak.

The pendulum needs to turn back to the old days when a news story does not look like tissue paper. I dislike an introduction to the news story before commercial break of 3 to 4 minutes. This may be good for the advertisers, but I just head to the kitchen or the bathroom knowing I have time for whatever.

The news needs to be facts and not opinions. I do not want opinion. I do not want opinion of the opinion that is underscored by more opinion.

And, yes this is opinion, ironically.
