Many Christians make this mistake all too often. They say they are Christians but do not read the Bible very closely. They are Christians in name only. And, it is not a good place to be.

For example, Proverbs 24:17-18 remind us to not rejoice when our enemies fall. We rejoice all the time. Congress has lots of Christians, but they rejoice in undercutting the enemy. This is not a time to be happy that the enemy is stumbling around. Lord God is not pleased with this attitude.

We need to refocus on the good in each Christian, if you are truly Christian. Reference also Philippians 4:8-9.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Here is the verses for your reference in the Authorized or King James Version.

Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
