“Men” by Rick Sanders

In Titus, old men and young men are to be taught certain characteristics. For the old men these are the following character traits.

  • exercise self-control
  • be worthy of respect
  • to live wisely
  • have sound faith
  • be filled with love and patience

The young men are to be taught:

  • to live wisely
  • do good works of every kind
  • reflect integrity and seriousness
  • learn the truth
  • do not oppose good teaching
  • praise those teaching you

Both lists contain “to live wisely,” for we can always use wisdom in our daily lives. How does your Christian life rank as compared to these lists?
