Consistency is the byword of this Psalm. God is right there to help when he is asked. “LORD, help!” is used four times in verses 6, 13, 19, and 28 to express GOD’s consistency in rescue even though the Israelites got themselves into the trouble. And, the Psalmist uses consistency in applying praise to reply to this help by saying “Let them praise the LORD….”

GOD’s consistency expects praise in return. Often we will cry for help and reply with praise. This is very appropriate. Yet, GOD can help with the small things as well. These calls deserve praise as well.

How good are you in praising GOD on the big things and the little things?
