My Grandmother loved crossword puzzles! Every day at least one was accomplished, and if the newspaper had two, both were done. On vacation, part of the afternoon was something like guessing the clue to whatever “across” or “down” was on her mind. This was relationship and teaching all in one.
Last night I did a first, I completed a crossword puzzle in under an hour! Now, for me, this is lightening speed. You may not be impressed, but I cut the puzzle out to save it. Yes, it was easy. Yet, little victories are encouraging for this soul.
